GENERAL CLEANING: 15 to 1 dilution: Put just two ounces of clean & simple concentrate along with a quart of water into a spray bottle. Spray the mixed solution onto any water-washable surface and then wipe clean with a dry towel or cloth.

GLASS/MIRRORS: 120 to 1 dilution: Mix one ounce of clean & simple concentrate with a gallon of water. Put the now-diluted product into a spray bottle. Spray the mixed solution onto the glass or mirror surface, then wipe clean with a dry towel or cloth.

clean & simple is a highly concentrated multicleaner that should be diluted with water for most surfaces. However, clean & simple can be used straight from the bottle for your toughest cleaning chores. For the easiest application, shake the concentrate well before using, pour clean & simple in a spray bottle at a 15 to 1 dilution (2 oz. of concentrate to 1 qt. of water) or, for glass and mirrors, at a 120- to-1 dilution (1 oz. of concentrate to 1 gal. of water), spray the surface to be cleaned, then wipe dry with a clean towel or cloth. Repeat if necessary.

GLASS / MIRRORS

120:1 Dilution
1. Dilute 1 oz. of clean & simple in 1 gallon of water, or 1 tablespoon of clean & simple in 1 quart of water.
2. Spray clean & simple onto surface, then buff dry with a clean towel or cloth.

NOTE: To prevent streaking, resist using too much concentrate, or cleaning glass in direct sunlight.

LAUNDRY

15:1 Dilution
1. Apply clean & simple with a spray bottle to those tough laundry stains as well as to "ring around the collar."
2. Let stand for 60 seconds.
3. Scrub with your hands or a nylon brush.
4. Add to your regular wash load.

NOTE: clean & simple is great for removing dirt and grass stains from athletic shoes.

SHOWERS / TUBS

15:1 Dilution
Removes mildew, soap scum and hard water deposits from showers, tubs, and fixtures.
1. Apply clean & simple with a spray bottle.
2. Let stand for 60 seconds.
3 Rub clean with a towel or cloth.

NOTE: For built-up soap scum, and hard water deposits, some scrubbing with a non-abrasive scrub pad may be required.

OVENS / STOVES / GRILLS

15:1 Dilution
1. Preheat surface (warm to touch).
2. Liberally apply clean & simple with a spray bottle to the surface to be cleaned.
3. Wipe clean with a towel or cloth.

NOTE: Scrub problem areas with a scrub pad.

UPHOLSTERY

15:1 Dilution
1. Apply clean & simple with a spray bottle to the stained area.
2. Rub clean with a dry towel.

WALLS

15:1 Dilution
Cleans smoke film, crayon, pencil, ink marks, and greasy build-up.
1. Apply clean & simple with a spray bottle.
2. Scrub specific problem areas with a towel.
3. Wipe clean with a towel or cloth.

NOTE: When cleaning a water-base paint surface or wallpaper, spray clean & simple onto a towel or sponge first, then wipe wall lightly.

CONCRETE

15:1 Dilution
Removes rust, oil, and grease from driveways and garage floors.
1. Apply clean & simple with a spray bottle, or mix in a bucket and pour directly onto stained area.
2. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes.
3. Scrub stains with a wire-bristle brush.
4. Rinse area with water.

WOOD DECKS

15:1 Dilution
Removes mold, mildew, algae, and weathering from decks, docks, siding, etc.
1. Mix clean & simple in a bucket or spray bottle.*
2. Apply liberally to surface.
3. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes.
4. Scrub with a stiff-bristle brush.
5. Rinse with water.

NOTE: Sealing deck after cleaning is recommended.

CARPETS

15:1 Dilution
clean & simple can be used to clean an entire carpet or to remove an individual stain. These are just a few of the toughest stains that can be removed:

Individual Stain Removal:

1. Spray clean & simple onto the stain until completely saturated.
2. Rub stain out of carpet with a clean, dry towel.
3. Repeat application if necessary.

NOTE: The success with which the stain can be removed depends on the length of time it has been in the carpet and whether or not another chemical has been used previously on the stain.

* HOT HINT: For those extra stubborn stains, here's a tip that the pros use. Heat clean & simple (properly diluted) in your microwave prior to application. You'll be amazed!

Complete Carpet Cleaning:

To Shampoo With Machine:
1. Vacuum area to be cleaned.
2. Pour properly diluted clean & simple into the holding tank of the machine.
3. Pre-spot problem areas before beginning.
4. Shampoo the entire carpet.
5. Remove excess moisture from the carpet with a towel or vacuum if necessary.

To Shampoo Without Machine:
1. Vacuum area to be cleaned.
2. Pour properly diluted clean & simple into a household bucket or pail.
3. Apply with soft bristle brush to loosen soil.
4. Rub clean with a dry towel.
5. Vacuum.

NOTE: When using clean & simple on carpeting, fabrics, or upholstery, always test on a small inconspicuous area for colorfastness.
